With Ozan as an advisor and lead mentor, teams transform concepts into funded ventures, with two successfully graduating and receiving seed funding from Akbank's Early Stage Fund.
Ozan’s approach as an advisor to Ford Turkey attempted to change how corporate innovation is planned and executed in a busines in decline. Through the trademark 'Innovation Pools' methodology, developed with professionals with decades of experience Ozan has illuminated Ford's innovation challenges, tried to integrate customer focus and lean startup practices to enhance their innovation division's effectiveness.
Since 2022, Ozan has played a lead mentor and trainer role in driving a customer-centric innovation approach as employees develop new technologies at Siemens through their Next47 Initiative. His expertise has helped hundreds of global teams pivot from mere invention to addressing real-world customer problems, marking a significant shift in the company's innovation application methodologies.
Startup
Bootcamps
Through AB Xelerate, Arab Bank fosters breakthrough tech in the Jordanian ecosystem. Ozan designed targeted bootcamps to support founders at different stages. In partnership with Google AI, 10 AI-focused startups were selected for mentorship and training, eventually creating partnerships and investments with influential decision-makers.
Endeavor Turkey is the primary support system for Turkish scaleups. Ozan serves as lead mentor and pitch coach for the early stage focused ‘Case Campus’ program, the Akbank-supported later stage ‘Boost the Future’ program, and additionally as a key supporter and deal flow provider for Endeavor’s corporate programs with Sanofi Pharmup and Vodafone Vitrin.
At the heart of the Middle East's communication sector, Unifonic's UnifonicX leverages its vast network and funds to accelerate SaaS startups in the region. Ozan's role as a pitch coach and mentor has been instrumental in sharpening founders' pitches and guiding their strategic growth in Saudi Arabia.
Accelerator
Programs
A unique collaboration between the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and Saudi Awwal Bank, Taqadam stands out as a leading accelerator in the Middle East. Ozan's contribution, rooted in his experience with KAUST's earlier Saudi-focused startup programs, has been vital in supporting founders with effective pitching, storytelling, and network building.
Turk Telekom, Turkey's premier telecommunications provider, was one of the first to build a corporate-startup accelerator in Turkey, and has now evolved to be a venture investor and program provider. With Ozan's mentorship, startups involved gain a global perspective, strategies for scaling and connecting with fruitful ecosystems for expansion.
The Garage is a new startup district in Saudi Arabia that scouts and invites local and international startups to join its programs and events. Ozan served as a trainer in The Garage's first global program.
